NOLES HONOR ALABAMA'S STEVE FILLO
The Frozen Tide of the University of Alabama lost one of their veteran players, #83,
Steve Fillo, as a result of a one car accident while returning to campus after team
tryouts in August. Steve's brother, Joey, trying out for the team, was injured in the
crash but is expected to fully recover.
Noles Hockey decided that the best way to honor Steve's memory and show respect
to the Frozen Tide and to the Fillo family, they would create a memorial decal and
display on their helmets during the 2009-10 season.
The Noles continue with thoughts and prayers extended to the Fillo family and the
University of Alabama hockey team.
